Programs: Occupational Health and Safety (OH&S)

Any size employer may qualify for Programs level OH&S.

Programs in OH&S includes:

1. OH&S Basics, plus
2. OH&S Foundations, plus
3. All other OH&S program elements required by legislation for employers with more than 20 workers. You will have already developed more than half of the required OH&S program elements as part of Basics and Foundations.  The Northern Safety Network Yukon offers a 1-day Principles of Health and Safety Management course that provides you with tools to develop a comprehensive safety plan designed for your business needs.
4. If you are required to have a Joint Health and Safety Committee (i.e, more than 20 employees), you must forward meeting minutes to YWCHSB every three months.
