Programs: Return-To-Work (RTW)
Any size employer can qualify for Programs in Return-To-Work. This level includes maintenance of The Basics and Foundations, plus some additional requirements.
Programs level of Return-To-Work includes:
- Return-To-Work Basics; plus
- Return-To-Work Foundations; plus
- Return-To-Work Program, which includes:
- Return-To-Work Program Documentation:
- Policies and procedures that outline the roles, responsibilities and accountabilities of the parties involved in Return-To-Work
- Guidelines for addressing accommodation issues
- Return-To-Work(RTW) Committee:
- Meets at least quarterly for meaningful consultation with management and workers on RTW program elements
- Provides advice on complex RTW issues
- Does not handle day-to-day developing or managing of RTW plans for injured workers
- Evaluation, Communication and Revision Protocol:
- Developed and implemented through the RTW Committee
- Conducted at least annually, or more often if required.
