Return-To-Work Policy

A Return-To-Work (RTW) policy demonstrates the employer's commitment to RTW for injured workers, and the injured worker's obligation to mitigate their injury, in relation to YWCHSB's Policies .

A Return-To-Work Policy includes references to:

• communicating with the worker during the RTW process

• the protection of confidential information

• a commitment to co-operation

• the roles and responsibilities of the parties involved in RTW, including (but not limited to):
  • the employer
  • the injured worker
  • health care provider(s)
  • YWCHSB
  • union representative, if applicable
