Return-To-Work Policy
A Return-To-Work (RTW) policy demonstrates the employer's commitment to RTW for injured workers, and the injured worker's obligation to mitigate their injury, in relation to YWCHSB's Policies .
A Return-To-Work Policy includes references to:
- communicating with the worker during the RTW process
- the protection of confidential information
- a commitment to co-operation
- the roles and responsibilities of the parties involved in RTW, including (but not limited to):
- the employer
- the injured worker
- health care provider(s)
- YWCHSB
- union representative, if applicable
