Inspections & Investigations

Inspections and safety audits are important tools to help employers meet health and safety standards. Employers take part in the process, along with their safety representatives.

If safety standards are not met, a safety officer will write orders outlining what must be done to correct the situation.

Safety officers will conduct thorough investigations of serious accidents to determine the cause.  This is crucial to prevent similar accidents from recurring.
