General Information

The Financial Administration Act applies to the YWCHSB’s contracting and procurement activities.  In particular, regulation OIC 2013/19- Contract and Procurement Regulation applies setting out the guideline that procurement authorities must use fully competitive processes to undertake procurement, except where a management board directive authorizes otherwise. 

If no Yukon Government management board directive applies to the YWCHSB, a relevant policy of the YWCHSB’s board of directors will apply. If YWCHSB does not have a contract and procurement policy in place then the Yukon Government directive will apply.


This policy informs YWCHSB’s staff, stakeholders and the public on how it carries out contracting and procurement activities in compliance with the Financial Administration Act and regulations.
