Workers’ Safety and Compensation Board presents "The Good, the Bad, and the Hazardous”

Workers’ Safety and Compensation Board (WSCB) is pleased to invite stakeholders, employers, supervisors and workers to attend our annual Workplace Solutions event at the Kwanlin Dün Cultural Centre on February 27 and 28, 2024.

This year’s theme is "The Good, the Bad, and the Hazardous: practical approaches to help manage hazards and ensure success for your health and safety management systems".

Participants will learn how to conduct hazard assessments and the importance of implementing health and safety management systems. They will leave with resources, tools and strategies to keep their workplaces safe and healthy.

This year’s speakers are from the Canadian Centre for Occupational Health and Safety (CCOHS). They will give a presentation on hazard assessment in the morning and provide training in the afternoon.
We are also offering additional training opportunities with Northern Safety Network Yukon (NSNY) in workplace investigations and workplace violence and harassment prevention.
There is no charge to attend the event or the subsequent trainings. Lunch will be provided. Seating is limited and participants are encouraged to register on our website.
