Workplace Solutions
This year’s Workplace Solutions event, “Safety Culture – What YOU Can Do,” takes place on Wednesday, October 22, 2025, and Thursday, October 23, 2025.
Our speaker this year is Curtis Weber, a worker who survived a near-fatal injury when he was electrocuted on the job at age 17. His story will help employers and workers understand the importance of hazard assessment, trusting your instincts, and the impact of a workplace incident on a community.

The Workplace Solutions series offers tools for employers and workers to tackle tough workplace health and safety issues. In past years, topics have included the labour shortage, mental health at work, the effects of legal cannabis, asbestos control, and managing drugs, alcohol, and hangovers in the workplace.
Presentations take place in Whitehorse and are open to the public. We encourage employers, supervisors and workers to attend.
