Workplace Solutions

This year's Workplace Solutions event, "The Good, The Bad, and The Hazardous: practical approaches to help manage hazards and ensure success for your health and safety management systems" takes place on Tuesday, February 27, 2024 and Wednesday, February 28, 2024. The event is offered in person at the Kwanlin Dün Cultural Centre and on Zoom. Lunch is provided for in-person participants. There is no charge to attend.

Over the two-day event, we will hear from speakers from the Canadian Centre for Occupational Health and Safety (CCOHS) and provide training opportunities from Northern Safety Network Yukon (NSNY) and CCOHS.

These presentations provide tools for employers and workers to address challenging workplace health and safety issues. In previous years, topics have ranged from the labour shortage, mental health in the workplace, the impact of legal cannabis, control of asbestos and dealing with drugs to alcohol and hangovers in the workplace.

The annual presentations take place in Whitehorse and are open to the public. We encourage employers, supervisors and workers to attend.
