Canadian Standards Association (CSA) information
Yukon Workplace Health and Safety Regulations (WHS Regulations) are laws to help improve safety for everyone in the workplace. They are available at yukonregs.ca.
WHS Regulations refer to CSA Standards which are national safety standards for equipment and processes, including safety gear and safe work procedures.
CSA Standards mentioned in the WHS Regulations provide specific information about selecting and using certain equipment, as well as how to safely perform certain activities.
You can view the standards referred to in the WHS Regulations by going to CSA Communities and following the prompts to create a free account.
Once you have an account and have signed in to the CSA Communities home page, in the top menu go to Standards > Standards View Access > WHS.
You now have access to all CSA Standards referenced in jurisdictions across Canada. Click on Yukon and there’s a list of all the CSA Standards referenced in Yukon’s WHS Regulations. These can be viewed free of charge.
