Programming for workplaces

We believe that everyone on a worksite has responsibilities for workplace health and safety. We offer programs to explain these responsibilities and help all workers make healthy and safe choices. Programs are adapted to workers’ interests and learning styles.

Programs

Workplace Violence and Harassment Prevention

  • Participants learn about the Violence and Harassment Prevention Regulation, including what workplace violence and harassment means, as well as their roles and responsibilities for preventing violence and harassment.
  • 60 minutes

Work Shouldn’t Hurt

  • Participants learn why some workers are more likely to be injured than others, as well as common workplace hazards and how to mitigate them. They learn about their workplace rights and responsibilities and how the workers’ compensation system supports injured workers.
  • 60 minutes

Risky Business

  • Participants learn how to identify hazards, manage risks and evaluate how to mitigate hazards. They discuss risk tolerance and the importance of considering all risks to keep safe at home, at work and at play.
  • 90 minutes

Mental Wellness

  • This courses dives into the ways we can take care of our mental health and how we feel when don’t. We discuss how stress affects us and how we can be more resilient to it in our daily lives. We also learn about tools to maintain positive mental well-being and the local resources available to help us.
  • Two 60-minute classes
