Administrative Penalties

The Workers' Safety and Compensation Board is modernizing its administrative penalty framework to encourage compliance with workplace health and safety laws.

In August 2025, we engaged with stakeholders and the public. A What We Heard Report was published in the fall of 2025.

Updated policies are listed below and will come into effect on June 1, 2026, replcing the existing policies.
