General Information
The Yukon Workers’ Compensation Health and Safety Board (YWCHSB) recognizes that some workplace injuries can be psychological, in particular those that occur as a result of traumatic events. This policy addresses those situations.
Purpose
This policy provides direction when the injury/illness is a psychological disorder. All claims for compensation will be adjudicated in accordance with the YWCHSB policy, "Arising Out of and In the Course of Employment".
