General Information

In service to the public, the Appeal Tribunal (the "Tribunal") and the members of the Yukon Workers' Compensation Health and Safety Board (the "Board") dedicate their time to Tribunal and Board business. This includes Tribunal meetings, Board meetings, Board financial and policy meetings, Board public meetings, appeal hearings, preparation time, travel, and other obligations of the Board and Tribunal.

Purpose

The members of the Workers' Compensation Health & Safety Board (the "Board") and the Appeal Tribunal wish to set an example of financial integrity. This policy is adapted from the Government of Yukon General Administration Manual - Corporate Policies General. There are deviations from that manual in so far as practicable for the proper functioning of the Board or Appeal
Tribunal and to ensure consistency with Board directives.
