Resource kits
Learning about health and safety from a young age helps develop positive attitudes towards injury prevention.
We offer resource kits for teachers to help their students learn how healthy and safe choices are important in everyone’s life. Each kit contains a lesson guide with reproducible materials and literature connections. The K to 2 kit contains a Susie the Safety Squirrel puppet.
The lessons in the resource kits meet competencies in the physical and health education curriculum. Lessons are available electronically, and printed kits are available on request for free.

Susie the Safety Squirrel
This resource kit includes topics for grades K to 2, including topics like dressing for safety, safety symbols and animal safety.
Safety Build classroom kit for grades 1 to 5
This resource kit has lesson ideas, a story template and a set of LEGO bricks for each student to support teachers and help students have fun while learning about health and safety.
Stop Think Do for grades 3 to 5
This resource kit includes topics like medicine safety, food safety and tool safety.
Stop Think Do for grades 6 and 7
This resource kit includes topics like vehicle safety, sports safety and first job safety.
